hi,

i'm trying to get 1.3 hours of audio onto a cd that will play in a typical cd player.

i thought that converting the files to a lower bitrate would solve the problem, but i guess i just don't understand the process.

currently, as mp3's, the files are taking up 77mb of space.

i appreciate any help.

thanks!

CD audio is always the same bitrate, as it is stored much different that Data.

By 1.3 hours do you mean 1 hour and 18 minutes, or 1 hour and 30 minutes? If the former, a standard 700MB/80 Min CD should work, just make sure you don't have any gap between the songs (under Advanced->Burning in iTunes Preferences. As 1.3 hours is only 78 minutes.
