I want get 720 video off my iPhone4 without uploading to YouTube or any other site. I want to directly save it to my hard drive.

PixelPipe isn't what I am looking for. Is this even an option?

I'm curious about this too. I tried to figure out a way but no luck. Would be nice if you could just drag it out of ITunes, but that would be too easy. I have PC if that matters.

Go to my computer then your iPhone then DCIM then click through all the folders until you find your camera roll then you should be able to drag and drop.

Another way is when you plug in your iphone the auto window should pop up then just hit import photos and videos.

That is insanely logical and I'm shocked that didn't occur to me. I had an idea that something like this may be psosible but for the life of me I just didn't put two and two together. Thanks for the help!

The easiest way is to sync your iPhone with your Mac then open iPhoto.

In iPhoto go into iPhone pics and there you will see you videos/photos.

Drag your videos into the main photo tab in iPhoto then from there you can drag it onto your desktop and save to your desired location.

I tried the steps mentioned, however when I tried to download a HD video from my iphone 4 to my macbook pro, it get an error in iphoto:

The following file could not be imported. The file is an unrecognized format).

Any suggestions? Thanks!
