getting a 3GS for my dad

I heard that Walmart had that deal where the iPhone 3GS 16GB was at $97 but has anyone bought it or if its still available
or should i just pre-order the 8GB model from Apple

I'm afraid that if i pre-order the 3GS, my pre-order for my iPhone 4 would be canceled so is that a problem?

Why would your iPhone 4 order get canceled? They would be separate orders and have nothing to do with each other.

When you do the check eligibility you will be checking under you Dad's number so everything is separate.

Go through Apple!

cause theres been reports of people having more than 1 pre-orders being canceled.

there was 1 thread where him and his wife had pre-orders on the new iPhone but his got canceled
