Getting a Draft out of Mail

On my flight from YYZ to LAX last night I fired up Mail and spent four on and off hours drafting a few e-mails.

This morning I open mail to a frozen app with nothing showing in my Inbox. Eventually I get this message..

Clicking either option shuts down Mail and nothing changes.

I'm considering a clean install of Leopard at this point.

At the same time, I really want to get a few of those drafts out of Mail. Is it possible?
