1. pay $200 and get replacement
2. sell for $350-$400 on eBay/craigslist
3. profit

changing the front glass on the iPhone 4 is a lot of work as the glass and lcd are fused together (or whatever).

I'll give you $1 for your shattered iPhone 4 thats been run over by a car. :p

Also, selling or asking for a value is only allowed in the market place.

how much could i get as is?

Actually you may be able to get about $50-$60 through an auction on ebay, assuming that it's really just the glass that's broken. If everything else worked someone would buy it.
(heck, if it was a CDMA iP4 I'd probably buy as is for about $40, if it has a clean ESN)

pay 200 for the replacement then sell it...you can get a decent profit.

If I were you I would see how much it would cost to get that screen replaced. If it's all working then even if the repair was $250 you could still make $250. Though with WWDC next week and iPhone 4S/5 or whatever is announced, prolly won't sell for $500 much longer on eBay.

There's gonna be a new iPhone next week?!

If you have technical know-how and have patience and common sense and follow tutorials, you should have no problem replacing the parts in this phone that are broken. This could be profitable to you. Be smart!

Making it white could also make it slightly more desirable. Keyword could considering there are legit white ones now. But yeah!

I'd just replace/fix it. Theres no use in selling it for parts or as is because it would probably take forever to sell and you won't get a lot of money for it. Like others have said I'd throw some cash at it and fix it up and make some more mulah.
