So I'm getting a new Mac Pro in the next week, and I'm wondering if the swanky new keyboard is included in new Mac Pros?
If one goes to Apple online store (say here), and scrolls down to the bottom of the Mac Pro page, one would see this:

(Hint: 3rd bullet down-- yes, it would appear a new KB would be included.)
Of course it comes with A new keyboard, but is it THE new keyboard?

We ordered 3 and they all came with the old keyboard.
The old keyboard is better. The "new" one is more of a novelty. I can't type as fast on it.

WAIT!
Has anyone mentioned that you should wait a month or so and get a Harpertown Mac Pro -- roughly twice the power for roughly the same price -- or buy overstock of the current Mac Pro (Clovertown) at a steep discount?
Seriously, this debate has raged on and on in other threads but unless you absolutely NEED a new comp pronto, then wait.
Yeah, I can't believe it took 12 posts before someone even mentioned this. Way to be on top of thingsDefinately wait if you can, it will be well worth it in the long run.
personal preference, whenever I use my iMac with the old keyboard it feels very clunky and far too big. I prefer the new ones.
The worst thing about the new keyboards is having to press the fn key to activate the function keys in the same way you do when you are using a laptop. For me that is a big problem.
