this is my first post so please dont falme me! i searched and couldnt find a thing. i have a question... i have a iphone 3g and tomorrow i am geting a new imac. finally leaving windows! the question is is there a way once i get it and when i plug my phone in not to lose all my info? contacts songs etc? this has me kinda worried. thanks guys

What you can do is schedule a appointement at the Genuis Bar and bring your old PC to them and buy you imac just before that and they will transfer all the needed data that you want!

If you have a brand new comp, all your data on the iphone will be lost but you can transfer your purchases if you authorize your mac.

this has me kinda worried. thanks guys

Not a problem, I transferred my contacts, music, video, photos, TV shows, pretty much anything on my iTunes was transferred to my new computer and iPhones as well. Google "transferring iPhone/iPod data from PC to Mac computer." There are many that cost money and there's just as many FREE ones as well. Good Luck...

Congrats, my friend! In the span of 2-3 weeks, my wife and I have picked up a Macbook, 2 iPhone 3Gs, and the iMac will be here tomorrow.

FINALLY FREE

Set it to manually manage to stop it syncing, until you got everything set up on the iMac.
