I always find it fun to read from people's responses.
Personally, I'm getting the MacBook Pro M1 Max, 4TB, 36GB, 64GB
Coming from a 2018 MBP i9, 512GB, 32GB RAM, Radeon Pro 560X 4GB
I don't go all out or spend much stuff on other things in life, but my livelihood is spent on a computer as many pro and non-pro users.
Using photoshop and other graphic intensive programs that takes time to save or even hangs up, it's time for this upgrade.
The annoyance of a laptop fan and trying to restart your computer while trying not to lose all your chrome tabs to make the fan stop is a stupid. Got enough to focus on that a high turbine laptop fan is one thing should not be an issue.
Also the amount of pictures and video for editing adds up, thus a 2TB would have suffice, but I do not want to worry at all thus getting the 4TB.
90% of my work is on a desk hooked to my LG Ultrafina, but I think this new Liquid Display XDR will get me working elsewhere in the house.
Looking forward to this new MacBook Pro and I foresee keeping this at min. 5 years.
