Getting a used iPhone 5s for free

whats the diff between getting a used one and one you have to buy brand new.. i mean i had it in my hand and it had some scratches on the surface but it functioned very well... but it had some weird wear and tear stains.. how much would it sell for???? im getting it for free from friend
so your friend did u a favour by giving u a phone and ur going to sell it??? u sound like a nice guy!! I hope u will be giving him atleast 50% of the money recieved
You started out by saying "Is it worth it" than you said its free. And you wanted a serious response to that ?
Why? If you give something, it's implied that you think it will be put to some use and that you no longer need it. If I wanted to sell something rather than give it away, that's what I'd do. If I give it away I don't care if the person trades it in, sells it or drives it into the ground. The people I give stuff to generally use them rather than trade them in, but I specifically said to a kid one time, "this is getting old for the newer games but you could trade it in and get a leg up on the cost of a new one."
^^ Upset with me or just upset you had to pay for a used piece of gear that the kid down the road got for nothing? Luck comes around and goes around... For all I know I have lit an insatiable desire for computing gear in a kid without the money to upgrade in future... so he may eventually be upset with me too, later on!

You can't really be asking this question, can you? I just hope that you're sure it's not stolen. But then again, people don't usually give away stolen goods for free, as that defeats the purpose of stealing them.
