Guys,

I'm attempting to do a spoof of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhDRVKDcXQo

I was thinking about just doing a green screen, but I'm afraid because I only have limited time to edit it, that I may not be able to tweak it perfectly.

Would it be possible to just put a white sheet or a huge white matte poster board behind the talent to get that desired effect? There would be no whole body shots, just medium to close ups. If the background was lit well enough, and I made sure there were no shadows, would it come out w/ a bright white picture like that?

I really appreciate any input.

Thanks.

btw:
I'll be using a Cannon GL2 (SD)
I have access to light kits and a small studio at my school

I'll be using FCP to edit.

Maybe a sheet or something? I don't think you would have to use a green screen though.

Yeah, a sheet or a white wall would be best I think. Don't go near green screens if you're just replacing the background with another solid colour; it's hard to key miniDV footage anyway, and any nasty green spill is just gonna look even worse with a bright white background behind it.
