iPhone Getting AirDrop on iPhone 4s?

I have an iPhone 4s running iOS 8.1.2
I was noticing on my friends iPhone 5c that in her control center, she has an air drop option. How come I don't have that?
Can I get it?

Use AirDrop to wirelessly share content

To share content with AirDrop, both people need one of these devices using iOS 7 or later, or a Mac with OS X Yosemite:

• iPhone 5 or later
• iPad (4th generation or later)
• iPad mini
• iPod touch (5th generation)

Ye it won't work unfortunately. Not a deal breaker for me.

SMS continuity works with the 4S so I will likely stick with the 4S until something on it breaks
