So basically any time that I delete, archive, send, and (obviously) receive emails in Gmail (on my computer) I am getting audible and banner alerts on my iPhone.

Anyone else experienced this issue? It drives me nuts because I can't tell if I'm actually receiving a new email.

Notification Center settings for Gmail
Alert Style: Banners
Badge App Icon: On
Sounds: On
Alerts - Shown in Notification Center: On
Alerts - Include: 5 Recent Items
Show on Lock Screen: Off

This is happening to me on iOS 6 occasionally. Usually when doing something to my gmail emails in the mail app (I am using both, Gmail App and the stock one)

I don't have a fix for it. Doesn't seem to be a iOS7 specific.

I experienced it too about two hours ago (never had before), but I'm using iOS 6.

I think it's a Gmail thing. Not iOS 7 related.

This.

I've had the same issue on iOS6(.1.4) on my iPhone 5. A quick fix for me was to just reinstall the Gmail app.
