Getting an Apple iP6+ Leather Case on launch day

I have a 6 Plus arriving on Friday and I really want the black leather case from Apple. What do you think the chances are of this case being in stock if I go to an Apple Store in NYC late Friday morning?

The cases are shipping this week, so I think they are pretty good. NYC stores will be mob scenes on Friday, though. I bet you could walk in on Saturday and pick one up.

If you want to be certain, you can reserve one for in-store pickup on the 19th.

I just tried doing that but the pickup option is grayed out when I try to order it. I guess I'll have to take my chances with the mob on Friday

At least you have a few stores to choose from. I'd avoid the one on 5th Ave for sure, though. The one by Chelsea Market is pretty big at least.

Hard to say. 5S leather cases last year were easy to come by, but I remember trying to find iPhone 4 bumpers in any color other than black was all but impossible a few years back.
