I am sure everyone over here must have experienced this problem, our home broadband has a limited download quota and with the frequency at which the app store apps keep updating, it becomes difficult to keep them updated.

Lets take my case, I have all my personal iDevices (iPhones, iPad, iPods) synced to my home PC and have a limited bandwidth and download quota, whereas, my office has a superfast internet bandwidth. I also have iTunes installed on my office laptop but its just that I want to keep syncing my iDevices to my home PC only.

With the same Apple ID being used on both, my home PC and the office laptop, I have tried many times to download the same apps on the office laptop and then copying them from the respective folders to the home PC folders perfectly. However, this effort goes in vain once I enable app sync on the home PC. It downloads the same apps again and I find duplicated apps in the home PC apps folder.

Is there any way to avoid getting these apps duplicated? I want to preserve my limited home internet download quota and make use of the office internet.

Requesting all users to suggest a solution to this problem with your experiences......
