I recently got Verizon Wireless mobile internet but don't want to have to use their proprietary software for something that my mac supports out of the box.

Does anyone know how to configure my network settings to work around having to use the VZaccess manager

I was able to replicate most of the settings and now can connect when i use the location it created in my network preferences.

I guess it comes down to what the password is.

Check out www.howardforums.com its a cell phone site. Look for the setting for Verizon, I would imagine you could find the settings for their internet access. I did for Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile when I used those services for work.

I have found that I can just use the network location built into my computer and simply add my other network interface and even rename the thing if I have to.

Kinda works
