Still a little large and no word on OS, but the designs are getting there. This is the sweetest one yet.

gwuMACaddict said:eh.... i am a little tired of hearing about these iPod killers that play video, audio in, s-video out, makes a mean cup of espresso, doubles as a palm pilot, transforms in to a jet plane... etc...
you get the idea...
i love the iPod for what it is, not all the things it isn't... a VERY WELL designed mp3 player... i don't WANT all that extra crap... maybe thats just me... but i dont see any of these other wacky devices 'killing' the iPod, they're in a different league...
gwuMACaddict said:hehehe... excellent point... if apple is having problems, i wanna see what kind of super secret cold fusion power is going on inside of all these other devices to keep them running![]()

It's not like you can watch your favorite movie while walking down the street; if you're going to devote your visual attention to such a device, you're going to be stopping somewhere to do it. And as long as you're stopping, you might as well sit down and watch whatever it is on a decent-sized screen....a laptop, at least.
I can actually see more justifications for a cellphone having video capability, because that would allow realtime video chats. You'd still have to stop to do it, but there's more value in that scenario.
