Getting contacts from iPhone 3gs to iP4

Guys,
I have just bought my wife a new iphone 4 here in the UK and my wife is joining me in the UK tomorrow, my question is how do I get everything off my wifes iphone 3gs and onto her new iphone 4.
All her music etc etc is saved in her itunes on her home computer, but she will not have that with her but we can use my laptop if that is an option??
Any help will be much appreciated

You might want to try a backup only of 3GS (no synch) on your laptop and then restore it on the new iPhone 4.

So basically just plug in the 3gs to itunes and let itunes do a backup then plugin the iphone 4 and restore from backup.
How do i get itunes to initiate the backup without hitting sync??
