getting driving direction from the iphone

yesterday I was trying to use the iphone to give me driving direction. I tapped the adress in contacts and the map opened up. I tried to hit direction and nothing?

Whats the trick?

So the Map comes up > Directions > Route > Start

No Trick. Its pretty simple?

Do you just want onscreen instructions? If you want navigation and voice prompts then you'll need to get a nav app.

Yeah, Waze is the best but it's no where near what the google nav app is on Android.

Yea you have to hit start before it will give you the actual directions.

I love Waze so much. I use it all the time. I can't believe it's free!

Waze and mapquest are better then the native map app. The map app doesn't even have my 8 year old road.
