Getting External USB Speakers + Headphones to work at the same time

When playing movies on the Mac I use good Bose USB speakers. We have someone who is hearing impaired and we all wish to view the movie together on the Mac Computer. Looking for solution to make both work at the same time. Since one is a USB connection - and headphones are the typical jack a splitter will not work.

I had a similar problem trying to get sound to go out both my speakers and through uStream, I solved it with a program called Soundflower.
