I've noticed that the when doing speedtests side by side with my nexus 4, I almost always get around 25mbps on the nexus 4 and 15 mbps on T-mobile iphone 5. When i'm on xda we have a tmobile nexus 4 thread there and i noticed that people with the fast.t-mobile almost never exceed 15mbps while on epc.tmobile apn it gets around 20-25. Do you guys think that changing the cellular data to epc.tmobile and writing fast.t-mobile apn into the LTE setup will increase hspa speeds while still allowing LTE to work? Can someone in a LTE area test it?

I have the official tmobile version of the carrier update and have never had a problem with speed. It's very similar to the s4.

Hmmm thats strange, on nexus 4 if you use fast.t-mobile apn it throttles you to 14-15 mbps and right when you enter epc.tmobile apn you will get 18-25 mbps if you are in hspa 42 area
