I know this is a simple issue of a hard drive problem BUT it's more complicated then you might think!

If I pull out the drive and attach it via USB, the computer starts up with no problem from the drive. I'm on it right now... If I try to start up with the drive internally, it gives me the flashing folder question mark icon...

It started yesterday. I was surfing the net then I got the spinning beachball, so I had to hard reset my machine. After that, I havent been able to start up with the drive internally.

I know the drive is good... What could be the problem?!

I did run disk utility on it with no errors...

Thanks so much in advanced!

Could be an issue on the logic board, i.e. defective SATA port. I would call Apple and let them take a look but try this first
