Hi!

So, we've decided to get my grandma an iPad, to keep in touch via facetime, easy sharing of photos etc. With other family members iPads, we would just use the mobileme gallery subscribe function – up until iCloud came along. We would share an album, they open the mobileme gallery app, boom new album appears, super easy.

But now what? Can anyone recommend an app which does this? It has to be as simple as the MM gallery app, preferably same super easy to use interface etc (grandma friendly!)? – Maybe some of you have encountered this exact same scenario?

If the app could cache/download the photos for later viewing when no internet is available, it would be even better.

Thank you in advance!
Jakob

Photostream is actually really good for this.
She can easily save them to her library
She would have to be on your iTunes accounts though.

Google

Have you looked at what Google offers. Many Google services integrate with the iPad: Mail, Calendar, ect. Your gram could have a gmail account and use Web Albums for iPad - A Picasa Photo Viewer, Uploader, and Manager is an iPad app that works with Picasa so she could upload photos or view them in albums. The only part I'm not sure about is FaceTime. Hope that helps.
