Getting help for kernel functions

I'm moving from MS Developer Studio to MAC Xcode. I would like to know how to get help on various functions. With developer studio all I have to do is press F1 while the cursor is on the function name and it will take me to the MSDN web site and fully explain the function with hyperlinks. Is there a way to do something similar when using Xcode?
