I am using an iPhone 6s. It works, but I am craving for a better camera.

Should I get the iPhone 11 now or waiting for iPhone 12 next year?

Doesn't really seem like there's a right or wrong or good or bad answer, in particular from someone else, just basically whatever would work for you.

I'd upgrade now. The 11's haven't been out that long and the camera upgrades are great.

I am going to upgrade from my qualcomm X very soon for the dual sim and band 14

If you can hold off the new models will be here in September. The 11 would be a decent upgrade from 6s but if there’s the strong possibility the notch will be gone in September’s release. The X and 11 series will become outdated in comparison. Also, The camera, battery are great right now and can only get better on the 12.

I have the 6S too and want to upgrade, but Apple Pay FaceId preauth and that notch would really get my OCD, so I am likely to stick to the TouchID and go to the 8 for now as the cam is good on that. As stated above the 12 really seems it'll be something to wait for.

Coming from a 6S upgrading might not be a bad idea, the night mode will likely make you real happy. iPhone 12 are rumored to have a new design and 5G support but these are just rumors.

depends if 5G is important to you. I suspect there's a lot of people who upgraded last year knowing it would be 2 years before Apple had a 5G phone, and for that reason I tactically upgraded my 6S Plus to the XR last November and I'll see how the land lies in 2020.

Only benefit is night mode... Would wait for 5G support, will make more $$$ when selling for second hand at a later time... Photo/Video improvements were a MUST to get up to the Android flagships (these features were even as good as in 2 years older Androids [e.g. Huawei P20]). Just 10 more month to wait... ;)

Yeah. Agree with the above. Also, The 11 pro is the end of an iphone era (design) September will be the beginnings of a new iPhone era which will be the new design language going forward for at least 3-4 years. I’d wait, personally. When 2020 drops new hardware chances are high that anything before is going to be considered outdated, fast. Which in turn will affect Re-sale value of anything purchased now..or with a notch 😉

You will have a great camera for $1000. But your bluetooth may not work. But you only get a good camera for $1000. Great deal...
