Getting Iphone 4 should i restore?

I have an iphone 3gs running on the 3.12 software and it is jailbroken with blackrain. Im curious if I should restore my iphone before I go in case they want to see my phone for anything. If not should I install 3.13 software jailbreak using spirit and then wait for the 4.0 jailbreak? Im a totally noob to this. My teacher at school whom knew much on the subject did the jailbreak and everything for me, but schools out so I am not able to go to him. Any help would much appreciated.

There’s no reason for them to want to see your 3GS.

You can leave the old iPhone in the car if you want. There is no need to even still own it.
