I know it's stupid, but I would really like to get an iPhone to Australia, jailbreak it and have a go at some of the third party apps. Trouble is, the only place to buy one is on ebay, and they are selling for a fortune... and I have no idea of the people who are selling them.

Does anyone know a company or seller who might sell an iPhone and also agrees to international postage. I figure you can only buy one in an Apple store or from AT&T, but I thought it might be worth asking.

Thanks,

Ross

There are actually many companies in Australia that import iPhones from US and unlock it for you. See

The cheapest at the moment is AUD$639.99 for a locked and refurbished iPhone, or AUD$799.99 for a new unlocked iPhone from VoiTech.
