Hello,

I'm waiting for the MBP(first Mac purchase) update whenever that is, ugh. Anyways, I already have an iPhone 3GS and I'm wondering if my contacts/calender will sync with my MBP or do I have to add them manually?

I know my iTunes library obviously will not do this, so to solve this in previous situations I turned on show all hidden folders(PC) and sifted through my iPod and drag-n-dropped all my music into a new folder and saved it. Is there a quicker way? I've tried the export library option before using CDs and it failed horribley. I have an iPod nano(3g) incase the iPhone doesn't support my improvised method.

Also, any other tips/advice when switching OS's with an iPhone would be greatly appreciated !! Thanks.

Your iPhone contacts and calendar will synch with MBP through iTunes. When I moved from PC to iMac, I backed up iTunes library to CD-rom (only a small library took 7 cd's) but it worked and then I just loaded into iTunes. good luck
