Getting messages when watch on DND+Silent+ Theatre mode

Every night I go to bed with my apple ultra 2 and turn my phone off - for the last three years with my AW7 I have never received any texts (as it should be ) when I enable the three icons on the side button press, Mute , Theatre Mode and DND - the last few nights I have had 2 messages come thru - what is going on ?

There’s not really much to go on from that but are they emergency (bypass) contacts?

Why aren't you using the Sleep focus?

When I tried using it after updating to the latest Watch OS it really confused me as it kept asking me to schedule in a sleep time pattern and I go to bed anywhere between 10pm and 1am - Am I missing something there ?

You don't have to schedule it if you don't want to, just turn it on when you're in bed and ready to sleep and off in the mornings. That's what I do on the weekends.

Ah fair do - I will try tonight as my fave thing about my apple watch is the silent haptic alarm which in 3 years has never failed to wake me and never ever woken my partner at 5am when I get up !

Tried Sleep - bit of a bust as on DND my hourly chimes don't happen/occur but in Sleep mode they def do (as silent but haptic feedback) - maybe a bug ?
