Getting my G4 Mac Mini to go wireless!?!?

Hello everyone -

I have one of the original 1.42GHz G4 Mac Minis. I originally didn't add-on a wireless card for it as I was using it near my router via ethernet. Problem is that now I'm going to be moving this unit to another level of the house and need to have it work wirelessly.

I'm wondering what my options are...

I have a spare Netgear WPN111 USB NIC, but Netgear's website doesn't mention Mac support at all.

Are there any USB NICs that work with Tiger? Is it possible for me to buy the Apple wireless card and install it myself inside the Mini?

Any insights would be appreciated...

Most of the USB dongles are unreliable at best. Even if they work now, there's a pretty good chance a system update will get them crashing your Mac on a regular basis. I recommend getting an Extreme card and attempting to install it yourself.
