iPod Getting nano swapped at store?

Has any one had there nano swapped for the 6th gen at the store under the recall. I was just wondering if I could skip the waiting for the shipping box.

As far as I'm concerned, you can't. IDK why, as it's taking nearly six week max for me right now, but I suppose since it's an international recall, all iPods are sent to one place somewhere in US, where they confirm that the iPod Nano 1st gen is eligable for replacement, and sends us 6th gen.
I would love if Apple allowed us to do that; just swapping 1st gen with 6th gen.
