Hi

I have an old G3 ibook which I am giving to a freinds son.

I have put very basic software on it. The ibook is very slow.

My only problem is getting his ipod nano to work in itunes. I understand that the nano's require 10.3.8 or higher. The ibook is running 10.2. something

To start with I don't have 10.3 and I think it would probably make the whole system run slower (I could be wrong).

Are there anyway's around this problem ?

The ipod appears as a drive on the computer but will not appear in itunes.

Any help would be appreciated, I think the main thing he will use this ibook for is music.

Cheers
