Getting New MacPro soon is Quad Core worth the money?

I will be getting a new MacPro soon. I have been waiting for two things 10.5 and I was hoping that Apple would update there Displays. I have another question is the Quad Core worth the additional cost?

There are alot of people on here, myself included, who believe new Mac Pros will be announced around the time of Leopard's release and will all be 8 core (dual quad) systems. So if you are waiting for Leopard, I wouldn't worry too much about making the choice right now.
