Getting new RAM for my MP3,1

The RAM I already have in my machine is the stock 2x1g FB-DIMM 800. I heard that getting 4 equal RAM sticks increases the speed more than just buying a larger RAM stick. I will use this extra RAM mostly for gaming on Windows and OS.

Using http://www.newegg.ca/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=551&name=Mac-Memory as a guide, what would be the best way to increase my speed for about $70-$150?

Thanks in advance. Sorry if I'm asking for much, I'm just confused on this subject.

Take the memory out you currently have, put the new memory in the first two slots on the top riser (A) and the old memory on the first two slots of the other riser. This will give you optimum performance from such a configuration. Doesn't matter that they are different in capacity.
