Getting new rMBP. Do I need to buy W10?

If I get a spanking new Macbook and boot camp, do I need to buy Windows 10, or do I get it for free. I own no other Windows computers nor have had any licenses.

You have to buy it. It is only free as an upgrade for people who have a genuine 7 or 8 license.

It might be cheaper to buy 7 or 8, install that and then upgrade (but it would be more hassle).

Didn't even think of that. LOL. I'll look for a Windows 7 license...
