I bought the new iPhone 3G today, and I immediately loaded Pandora Radio on there. When I was in the car on the way home from work, I plugged it into the ipod connector on my Pioneer DEH-P700 stereo and was playing with the ipod music. Then, I thought, what the heck, I'll try clicking on the home button and launching Pandora Radio. So, I did, and it worked!!!

Then when I got home, I plugged my iPhone into my Onkyo Ipod dock, and tried Pandora through my home theater and what do you know, it worked!

After that, I plugged my iPhone into my PC at home after tethering it from my work PC, and it made me go through the whole registration process again. Then it proceeded to wipe all the music I copied to it from work.

I haven't loaded any music on it, but since it wiped it, I can't get it to work in the car any more with Pandora or AOL radio! My receiver just says "No music". I'm wondering if you have to have some music in itunes on the iPhone in order to be able to use it with 3rd party apps on docking connectors such as Pioneer and Onkyo??

Anyone else using AOL radio, Pandora, or other 3rd party apps to play music in their non-Apple devices such as home theater or car audio??
