getting out of recovery mode ... HELP?

I installed some steelseries drivers and ever since then my desktop would twitch and act weird.

so I decided to try and use time machine to recover before the drivers were installed. Once I start the recovery with time machine about 1.3% in it says error.

Now I can get out of the restore loop. Any ideas besides reinstalling Lion?

I am on a Mac Mini if that helps ...
