I would like to run 'screen' under Terminal such that there are no ANSI escape codes at all - just pure VT100 (or VT220). Is this possible? I am using a very basic VT220-emulating terminal via serial link as a remote console for my Mac mini.

The terminal in question is an Apple //c running Modem MRG. For the record, I was inspired by this guy's story, and I already had a //c sitting in my office, so...just had to build a proper null-modem cable.
I get fine output for simple things like 'ls' and such, but when I run 'top' or 'pico,' it seems ANSI codes are hosing me up. Tnx.
