I've become a fan of Quicksilver lately but I miss the ability to search within documents etc that Spotlight has. Is there anyway to get that functionality into Quicksilver?

I also quite enjoyed being able to find files using Spotlight which Quicksilver doesn't support (that I'm aware of anyway).

Anyone got any ideas?

I dont know of a way to do that, however, you can install a plugin for quicksilver that will allow you to easily porth the information from quicksilver into spotlight.

The way I see it, Quicksilver and Spotlight do two different jobs.

Quicksilver is an easy way to 1) manipulate files quicker than with a mouse, and 2) launching things whose names you already know.

Spotlight is more geared toward finding something you may only know a little about.

So I don't know if there's a way to make Quicksilver do exactly what you want; I'd just use both if I were you.
