It got unusually warm when charging wirelessly which is to be somewhat expected but even when I plug in to charge, the warmth starts at around the volume buttons and then overtakes the whole back of the phone but never reaches the power button side bezel/band. Anyone else? 12 Pro on 14.1 connected with WiFi. It’s fine until I charge. Thanks.

Do you have a think case on it? Also, did you just finish setting it up?
Apple Silicone MagSafe case and I set it up this morning about 14 hours ago. Had it charging while I was in the shower. Just got out and unplugged it and it’s starting to cool down.

Yeah dude same thing happened to me using the MagSafe silicone Case with the MagSafe charger. I’m sending the MagSafe charger back as I will continue to charge my iphones the way I always charge them, the little 5w charging brick 🧱 Apple has been sending us since lightning ⚡️ first introduced. Not interested in heating up my thousand dollar purchase

I expect it from wireless charging but also I’m getting it while plugging in. Hope it subsides over time. My 11 Pro Max did not do this... Awful.
