Getting rid od 'Free Cloud Backup' pop-up

I keep getting this pop up on the upper right hand side of my screen. No matter how long I ignore itit doesn't go away. And it frequently pops up several times a day. The only waym it seems, to get rid of it is to hit the red button on it.

Is there a way to permanently stop it?

Sounds like you have inadvertently installed some malware on there. Download and run the app Malwarebytes to clean it off.
