Hi,
I have a DVD in German and would like to make it into a mp4 file, without English subtitles. I usually have no problems to do so (using Handbreak or MKV) but with this DVD I couldn't find a way to just watch it without subtitles. In the DVD Player menu I have turned captions off. But with Features>Subtitles it doesn't show any options at all. I have checked the subtitles issue specifically with this DVD and was informed that the subtitles are not burned unto the film. I guess this is an old DVD or something special...Googling this issue: some say that it has to do with the DVD player itself (Mac Superdrive). I don't know how to change any setting of the DVD player itself. Any suggestions?
