PLEASE HELP ME!! lol
All my iCloud stuff now shows the file's name AND it's extension: for example, "Picture.jpg"
It didn't use to do this, but after installing iPadOS 16.1, now it does ....
I wanna get rid of this and have it just show the file's name ONLY, exactly like it did before.
How do I do that ...??
Thank you!
🙂👍🏻

Try this: While browsing your files in iCloud, select the icon at the top that’s just to the left of the word “Select.” The icon appearance represents the current way the files are being viewed. When you select that icon, a menu will appear — at the bottom you should see “View Options” — select that you’ll find an option to “Show All Extensions” — uncheck that and you be good to go.
