Hello all!
I recently got a new M1 Mac mini, and imported all my files and settings from my old iMac; the old computer was too out of date to support Big Sur, which means that the new computer was my first experience with Big Sur. After that migration, a bunch of what I'm 99% sure are iCloud storage folders appeared in my ~/Documents folder, which hadn't been there before. I generally don't use iCloud for file storage and I find this clutter annoying, but I'm a little wary of secrewing things up by just dragging them to the trash. Poking at them on the command line shows that they're aliases of some kind, and some other threads on this forum from people who want them back after they vanish seem to indicate that this functionality existed before Big Sur, so I'm not sure why I'm just now seeing them. But if anyone can point me to whatever setting is necessary to banish them, I'd appreciate it. Can't seem to find anything in the various preferences that seem relevant. Screenshot attached.
