Hi, I'm hopefully getting the rMBP for uni and it will be the standard 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD (13"). Will probably get an expansion card for it. This is £859 with my student discount.

I wondered whether this is a good time to buy one, tips (always been windows) and advice/opinions!

Thanks!

The best time to buy one is when you need it.

Personal recommendation - consider a larger SSD capacity than 128GB. You'll find you may quickly run out of space with the 128SSD.

I was looking to get a 128gb transcend jetdrive lite for it too! Always been windows so finally making the change. Hopefully I'll pick it up quickly.

Any other views?

Thanks
