At the bottom of my MBP, I noticed 2 thin hairline scratches. No matter how hard they may be to notice, just knowing they're there bothers me. Is there anything I can do to get the scratches off the aluminum?

Be proud of them. Wear and tear is a normal part of a laptop and shows the fact that it was put to use when you get to the end of its life...

Apple needs to put a warning on their products:

WARNING! The purchase and use of this product will likely turn it's user into a obsessive compulsive maniac.

Just joking (half joking at least.) It happens to all of us, but you can't save your baby every time. So far mine doesn't have any scratches since February...but I did knock it into a corner and it actually warped the whole body slightly near the Ethernet port. Luckily I had the strength to bend it back with my hands (I was surprised at how easy it was, but I am a bodybuilder ;)) so now you can't even tell.

Just go to a hypnotic therapist and try to have them make you forget the scratches are there.

Do you sit and stare at the bottom of your MBP? No, so move on.

My Macbook Pro has some minor scratches on it, so I decided the best thing was to let my best friend run over it...
