getting sick of the perfect portraits chick

that chick has been showing up several times on each page for the past week or so, sometimes square, sometimes wide rectangle, often both, maybe other ads show up multiple times on every page, but they're bland so I don't notice them, but damn this chick is everywhere. Just got 3 on the main page at once, a rectangle at the top, a square just below on the right, then right below the first article.

Reminds me of how when I watch web video they repeat the same commercials over and over, sometimes back to back. If anything, it makes me hate the company for being rude to my senses and I'm even less likely to click on the ad. Please make her go away

I seriously wonder if even 1 person who views this site has bothered with the demo, and doubt anyone has coughed up $100 for it.

edit: i see it's an adchoice ad, so I wonder if something i've been googling has made google think i'd want this lol.

I'm seeing it everywhere too - never cared about the ads on MR but it just happens to be especially distracting.

On that note - I don't mind contributing to a site I go to so often, but when I checked the "available subscriptions" page it says you get suppression of front page ads. I barely read the front page, it's the top and bottom of threads where I'd want them suppressed. Can anyone confirm if that happens?

I've seen this when connected to other networks, but I guess that my school censors advertisements as seen in the screenshot. I don't know how to feel about this...
