Mine is not Verizon. Just an unlocked non-vendor-specific KG800 Chocolate. My text box is full and I need to get them off my phone and onto my Mac. Anybody have a solution? It appears that BPE2 can't do it.

Do you have Bluetooth on your Mac?

Have you tried that way? Or by syncing the data with the Address book?

Sorry, only done it once and it was a while ago. However, it can't be too hard to do because you're on a Mac:) .

Yes, I can link to my phone, but iSync doesn't support LG Chocolates. Getting my SMS texts off of this phone is urgent as the memory is full. Anybody?

If you don't mind forking out a bit of money, see if your phone is compatible with the BluePhone Elite application. It enables you to copy off contacts and SMS messages onto your PC.

I don't mind buying software but sadly BPE1 and BPE2 beta won't grab the SMS messages off of the Chocolate.

Go to the Bluetooth menu in the menubar and click Browse device. If your phone is paired with the Mac, you should be able to get to most media. As far as txt goes, I've never heard of anyone backing those up...

I can pair with it, but definitely need a third party app to get the texts off. I had no problem doing it with my Razr and had a wide choice of apps. With the number of Chocolates out there, I thought this wouldn't be a problem. How wrong I was.

Doesn't any Chocolate owner out there know of a solution?
