No I am joking I know someone can...all yall smart dudes!!!

Ok. explain this to me.

I get the Tascam Audio Interface/Mixer/Controller thing.

I plug my Triton, midi controller keyboard, and other inputs into the Tascam interface and then connect the interface via Firewire to my macbook pro. So that is how the sound/information will get from my instruments into programs like Logic and Reason. But how will the sound get to my monitors? I mean I know that I can hook the monitors to the Tascam device (DUH!!!) and I will hear the sounds from the instruments as they pass through that device on it's way to the computer...but how will I hear the tracks, loops, etc. that are in the computer. I know I will be able to hear them through the computer speakers...But I want to hear them through the monitors.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks

who changed the title of my thread??? oh well thanks for fixing it if I did something wrong.

is it by chance through the firewire cable?

does the firewire cable transmit sound in and out of the audio interface
