hey i have a movie (not pirated) with subtitles in a .sfv and a .sub format. the .sfv is in the same file, while the other is not. how do i get quicktime or vlc to recognize that there are subs, seeing as it won't do so now. thanks

(p.s. the movie is one my friend is making, he is in the "biz")

In VLC go to file -> Open file.

Click browse by the lower of the two blank boxes and find your file (don't mess with the area that is already partialy filled in "file://")

Then check the box for the subtitles file and click browse (the button that is across from it)
