Getting the iphone 5

Hi all. So i missed my shot at pre-ordering the iphone 5 so now I'm not exactly sure how I should go about snagging it. Should I just order one now and wait for it to ship in a few weeks, or try to hunt for one in stores once they restock?? Also if I order, should I do it through Verizon's site or Apple's?
